Fennies Wimbledon has been carefully created to give children a stimulating and supportive environment where they can thrive throughout their Early Years. Bright, spacious learning rooms, thoughtfully chosen resources and engaging play areas encourage children to follow their curiosity and build their confidence, as they develop important skills and form strong friendships with those around them.

Situated in the heart of Wimbledon, the nursery is well connected for local families and those commuting to and from the area, with Wimbledon Station just a 4-minute drive away. Designed with children’s development in mind, the nursery brings together exceptional learning spaces and practical features that help make daily drop-offs and pick-ups as easy and convenient as possible for busy families.

Eulalia (Nursery Manager)

Eulalia is passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children, families and educators feel valued. She takes great pride in her work and is known for her dedication and attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of nursery life is thoughtfully considered. One of the things Eulalia loves most about working in Early Years is seeing the joy on children’s faces each day and recognising how special every moment of their journey is. She believes in creating a setting where children’s learning experiences are celebrated, families feel involved and educators have the support and confidence to provide the very best care. Eulalia also values the importance of being connected to the local community, taking pride in the small actions that show respect for the people and environment around the nursery. Her ambition is to continue building a thriving setting where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.

At Fennies Wimbledon, we’re dedicated to building a team of educators who are passionate about delivering exceptional Early Years education and care. We carefully select individuals who share our values and are committed to creating enriching learning experiences that support every child’s growth and development.

Children’s safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Every new team member completes a thorough induction programme and paediatric first aid training, before working in the nursery, giving them the knowledge they need to provide a caring and nurturing environment from day one.

Explore The Nursery

Our Wimbledon nursery has been carefully designed to support children’s development through inspiring learning spaces that nurture curiosity, independence and creativity.

Inside, every room has been created with children’s interests and developmental stages in mind, featuring age-appropriate resources and engaging experiences that encourage exploration and confidence. Calm, cosy areas are also available throughout the nursery, giving children dedicated spaces to regulate their emotions and feel secure and supported during their day.

Outside, children have access to a spacious garden environment designed to promote outdoor learning, with nature and discovery woven into everyday experiences.

Explorers Room (3 Months - 24 Months)

Our Explorers Room gives babies a calm, nurturing environment where they can build secure attachments and grow in confidence as they become familiar with the world around them. Educators support each child through responsive interactions and sensory experiences, built into consistent daily routines, helping them feel safe and ready to explore. With a 1:3 staff-to-child ratio, every baby receives tailored care and attention throughout the day. Activities are carefully planned to encourage early movement and early communication, supporting each child’s development at their own pace.

Creators Room (2 Years - 3 Years)

Our Creators Room supports children as they become more independent and begin building confidence in themselves and the people around them. Learning experiences are designed to encourage imagination and exploration, giving children opportunities to express their ideas and develop important communication and problem-solving skills. Educators gently encourage children to take on age-appropriate responsibilities throughout the day, helping them build confidence and develop a strong sense of self. With a 1:5 staff-to-child ratio, every child receives personalised support and encouragement as they continue to learn and grow.

Inventors Room (3 Years - 5 Years)

Our Inventors Room supports children as they prepare for the move to school by building confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning. Children take part in engaging experiences that introduce early literacy, numeracy and STEM concepts through hands-on activities that encourage curiosity and independent thinking. With a 1:8 staff-to-child ratio, educators can support each child’s individual learning journey while helping them develop the confidence ask questions and solve problems. These experiences give children a strong foundation for a successful transition into school.

Garden

Outdoor learning plays an important role in everyday life at Fennies Wimbledon. Children have access to dedicated outdoor spaces where they can explore the natural world and build confidence through play and discovery. Time outside is woven into the nursery day, giving children opportunities to develop physical skills, strengthen coordination and enjoy learning in a different environment beyond the classroom.

At our nursery in Wimbledon, we know that the Early Years play a vital role in shaping a child’s future learning and development. We maintain high standards through regular quality audits and ongoing support from our Regional Managers, who work closely with Rageena, Head of Compliance.

Famly App

The Famly App helps families stay connected to their child’s nursery day through regular photographs and updates from our educators. Parents can follow their child’s progress and daily experiences, through observations, helping strengthen the partnership between home and nursery.

At Fennies Wimbledon, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. The nursery is protected by secure entry systems, and only authorised parents, carers and team members can access the building throughout the day.

All visitors are accompanied while on site, and safeguarding procedures are embedded across the nursery, creating a safe environment where children can learn and grow with confidence.

Hygiene  

Maintaining a clean and healthy environment is a key part of everyday life at Fennies Wimbledon. Strong hygiene practices are built into the nursery day to help reduce the spread of germs and support children’s wellbeing.

Children are encouraged to develop good hygiene habits through regular handwashing and daily routines, while dedicated housekeepers carry out thorough cleaning each evening and regular deep cleans across the nursery.

Food At Fennies

Our in-house kitchen team prepares fresh, nutritious meals each day using high-quality seasonal ingredients. Our menus are accredited by the Early Years Alliance (EYA) and are carefully planned to support children’s growth and wellbeing while accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences.

Mealtimes are an important part of the nursery day, giving children opportunities to build independence, enjoy conversations with their friends and become more confident trying new foods in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Starting at nursery is a big step. At our nursery in Wimbledon, we offer personalised settling-in sessions to help your child feel comfortable and safe. Our experienced team works closely with parents to create a gradual introduction plan, building trust and routines that support smooth transitions and positive early experiences.

How do I secure my child’s place at Fennies Wimbledon, Elm Grove?

To secure your child’s place when one becomes available, we require a non-refundable £200 registration fee as well as a £400 deposit, which will be deducted from your first month’s fees. You can be added to a nursery waiting list free of charge. (Please note: A £200 registration fee is not required for children attending a funded-only placement)

Educators at Fennies Wimbledon, Elm Grove undergo a comprehensive two-day induction with essential training, including paediatric first aid certification.
