Outside areas
Each nursery has its own unique outside play area that encourage children’s development through a variety of skills and resources. Beech house and Kingshall have a free flow system that allows children access to the garden throughout the day. Christchurch Rd, St Augustines and Addiscombe Rd have allocated times for each rooms which allows equal access. All children access outdoor play in all weathers. Most activities indoors can be completed outdoors too!!
Parking
Parking for parents is provided for the dropping off and collection of children only. Parents have no authority to leave cars in the car park at anytime during the day. Due to the quiet residential areas of most of the nurseries, parents are requested to give careful consideration to local residents.
Buggy Store
Each nursery has a designated area for buggy, it is requested all buggy are folded for easy access.
Nappies
Pampers nappies, pull-ups and wipes are provided and are included in the monthly nursery fees. Any other nappies, wipes required due to allergy etc can be obtained if necessary.
Inclusion Policy
Fennies aims to meet the needs of all of our children and families. We will work together to support you and your child throughout the transistion into nursery and work daily with any individual needs your child may have. If there are individual requirements you would like to discuss before starting the nursery please contact the manager or Inclusion officer.
Health and Safety
All of our nurseries have strict policies to ensure children’s safety with regards to staff, children and visitors.
Parents at Kingshall, Christchurch Rd, Addiscombe Rd and St Augustines have access by the use of key fobs to gain entry daily and all parents give passwords for security reasons.
The nursery is checked by manager and room leaders daily and risk assessments completed if necessary.
