Beech House work with childrens Traffic Club to win the competition in Summer 2008
The team at Fennies Beech House work with the childrens Traffic Club to encourage safer road use. Last year the children received traffic balloons and information on how to cross the road and the important things to remember - look, listen and think!!! The pre-school team read the stories and encouraged the children to talk about their experiences of crossing the road. To enter the competition children had to create a poster to create awareness of road safety. They all worked very hard and did their own piece of work which was added to a large poster with the help of Jenny (practitioner). The poster was sent in and we all waited news!! We did not hear anything until a letter arrived saying judging had been delayed because of so many nurseries had applied. On January 2nd when we returned to work we recieved a letter to let us know we had won the competition and would be awarded a prize and certificates. In April the children were presented certificates and our prize was a large box of dressing up clothes relating to crossing the road and people who help us.

Easter Party at Beech House
The children at Beech House had a fantastic time at their Easter Party when Moms, Dads, Brothers and Sisters came along to join in with the fun. There was a tea party, followed by an egg hunt with the children putting chocolate eggs in their baskets they had made and decorated. The day was finished with a parade of hand made Easter bonnets round the garden. A good time was had by all with prizes going to the best bonnets!!
The introduction of childcare vouchers provides a genuine cash saving for working parents, and Fennies Vouchers would like to ensure that the experience of using childcare vouchers is quick and simple, and does not add an unnecessary administrative burden to the already busy lives of the working family.
